Determining the correct form of Anti-slip treatment requires a thorough investigation of the area including physically checking the location (inside/outside/commercial or private) properly identifying the substrate material, assessing the volume of foot traffic, checking for potential contaminates such as grease, mould, efflorescence, or mineral deposits and establishing the angle of falls associated with the area.

With every Lustre–anti slip treatment, a deep clean and deep dirt extraction process is completed first, and where applicable a Lustre-sealing stain stop treatment upon completion of the process.
